-and I want to welcome you to a tour to Osterøy Island.
I will be your guide and hostess for this tour to the beautiful island, where I live. I will do my very best to give you an extra ordinary day and an evening to remember.

Welcome to Osterøy - the Island of History and Culture.
The biggest inland Island in Northern Europe.
We start with a Fjord Cruise
After lunch, Thursday May 11th, we will enter these two Veteran Boats in Bergen Habour at 02:00 pm.
MS Midthordland (1947) and MS Vestgard (1957) will take us on a fantastic sight seeing in the beautiful Sørfjorden and to Osterøy Island- and Bruvik.
Bruvik
At approximately 05:00 pm we will arrive the little village Bruvik.
The village is located on the southern shore of the island of Osterøy, along the Sørfjorden.
Here we will be guided up to the local community house, Knausatun, where we will spend the rest of the evening.
A local party
We will offer you a various program this evening. The menu says something for the palate and something for the soul. We will not disclouse everything now, but we will make sure you will get an evening you can NOT get anywhere else. Here are a few samples:
Music & Stories
I will bring my guitar and entertain and guide you through the evening with songs and local stories. You will also meet some other great musicians. Stay tuned!
Dance
YES! You can not participate at a traditional Norwegian Party at a Community House without haveing a band playing so you can dance a Waltz and a Polka and hear some real Rock ´n Roll.
Bring your best dancing shoes!
Food & Drinks
Food & Drinks are crucial for a great party. We will serve you the best food and drinks, and you will be able to taste some of our local, typical Norwegian specialities.
You can also not leave Osterøy without having tasted some Cider, Beer and Aquavit. Enjoy!
The end
Everything must come to an end. Even a party at the island Osterøy.
At 11:00 pm buses will bring you safely back to your hotel in Bergen, where you will arrive around midnight.
We are sure this will be a tour you will remember for a long time. We have put it all together espescially just for you. This is NOT a command turist-trip offered.
